Clinic Policies

Our primary mission is to deliver the best and most comprehensive veterinary care available for your horse. An important part of the mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our clients as possible by offering several payment options.


Twin Oaks Equine Clinic requires payment in full at the end of your horse's examination and/or at the time of service.


We currently accept cash, personal checks, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) and financing through Care Credit.


We do offer monthly billing for our established clients. If payment is not made at time of service, a monthly statement will be received at the beginning of the following month & payment in full is due within 30 days of the statement date.


In an effort to make the billing side of your equine life easier, we now offer Email Invoicing! Invoices/Statements are sent to you via email at the first of each month. You are invited to keep a credit card on file with our practice, enabling you to reply to the email with a written authorization to bill your card on file. Please call our office to set this up over the phone, as we do not want credit card numbers coming via Email to ensure they remain secure.


A service charge of 1.5% will be added to any unpaid account balance for each month that the account remains unpaid.


There is a $25.00 service fee for returned checks.


For clients with pet insurance, we are happy to assist you with the necessary documentation to submit a claim to your insurance carrier.
